What does the HVAC maintenance service visit actually include?
Every visit includes a full inspection of whichever system is scheduled that day. Furnace maintenance covers a heat exchanger inspection, burner cleaning, blower testing, airflow measurement, electrical component checks, and a complete safety evaluation. AC maintenance covers coil cleaning, a refrigerant level check, capacitor and contactor testing, condensate drain inspection, and airflow measurement. After every visit, you get a written report with honest findings, including anything that needs attention now or down the road.
How often should I schedule HVAC maintenance?
Most systems do best with two visits a year: one AC tune up in spring before cooling season, and one furnace maintenance visit in fall before heating season. Heat pump systems follow the same twice-a-year schedule. If your equipment is older or nearing the end of its service life, the added coverage in our Complete or Platinum plans is worth the extra visits.
What does an AC tune up include?
An AC tune up is a full inspection and cleaning of your system before cooling season starts. It covers coil condition and cleaning, a refrigerant level check, capacitor and contactor testing, condensate drain inspection, airflow measurement, and an honest read on how much life is left in your equipment. The Core, Complete, and Platinum plans all include a spring AC tune up as part of membership.
Does regular maintenance actually lower energy bills?
Yes. A system fighting dirty coils, restricted airflow, low refrigerant, or worn-out components has to work harder to produce the same output, and that shows up on your energy bill. Regular maintenance keeps your equipment running at the efficiency it was built for. Homeowners who stay consistent with maintenance spend less month to month and avoid the snowballing costs that come from skipping it.
What happens if something breaks between visits?
Members call us, jump ahead of non-members on the schedule, and get 10% off the repair automatically. Regular maintenance cuts down how often you’ll need an unplanned repair in the first place, but if something does come up, members are better positioned across the board: faster scheduling, lower cost, and a technician who already has documented history on your system from past visits.
Is the 10% repair discount automatic?
Yes. Once you’re an active Comfort Crew Club member, the 10% discount applies automatically to every repair visit. It doesn’t apply to equipment installs or full system replacements.
Can I start maintenance service right away?
Yes. Membership starts the day you join, and your first visit can be scheduled immediately. There’s no waiting period and no enrollment window.
